# Wyrd documentation

Wyrd manages work profiles on employees' phones. The handsets run GrapheneOS. The employee's personal data is out of the system's reach. Every customer gets a separate Wyrd server, and the devices connect only to it.

## Installing the server

The requirements, the package check and the installation apply when the Wyrd server is installed on your own server.

- [SaaS and On-Premise](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/server/hosting/index.md): How does a server we host differ from one installed on your side?
- [What Wyrd is made of](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/server/what-is-wyrd/index.md): What exactly is installed, and where is each part located?
- [What the server needs](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/server/requirements/index.md): Which server is needed?
- [Verifying the package](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/server/verify/index.md): How do I know the file is ours and not a substitute?
- [Installation and first start](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/server/install/index.md): What happens once the package is installed?

## Buying a license

The license sets how many devices the Wyrd server serves. Without one the Wyrd server connects no devices.

- [The license key](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/license/key/index.md): How do you paste the key, and what happens when it runs out?

## Choosing and flashing phones

The company buys the handsets, or the employee already has a suitable one.

- [Which handsets are suitable](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/phones/models/index.md): Why not any phone, and what to look at when buying?
- [Flashing and enrolment](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/phones/flashing/index.md): How does a handset become a device in your console?

## Console

The console is the administrator's workplace: fleet, policies, commands and logs. It is available at the Wyrd server's address.

- [Fleet and device page](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/fleet/index.md): What can you see about each device?
- [Policies and commands](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/commands/index.md): How do you set rules and send a command?
- [Logs and alerts](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/audit/index.md): Where do you look at device events?
- [Connecting an AI agent](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/agents/index.md): How do you give an AI agent access to the fleet?
- [The kiosk screen](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/kiosk/index.md): How do you put the state of the system on a screen of its own?
- [Accounts and access](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/console/accounts/index.md): What do you do when an administrator loses the password or the phone with the second factor?

## What Wyrd can do

Once the first phone is enrolled, the system manages its work profile.

- [The work profile](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/modes/index.md): What does the system manage, and what stays personal?
- [Rules and visibility](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/policies/index.md): What can you set for the fleet, and what can you only see?
- [Applications](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/apps/index.md): How do you put a work app on every phone?
- [A lost device](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/lost-device/index.md): What do you do in the first minutes after a phone goes missing?
- [Location](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/geolocation/index.md): Why does the phone not report its position?
- [Geofence](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/features/geofence/index.md): How do you limit where a work phone may be?

## Cabinet

The cabinet at my.wyrd.link is where licenses are bought, access to the Wyrd server or the release archives is obtained, and support is reached.

- [Account and sign-in](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/cabinet/account/index.md): What do you need to create an account?
- [Buying and renewing](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/cabinet/buy/index.md): How do you buy a license, and what happens when it runs out?
- [Support](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/cabinet/support/index.md): How do you ask a question, and where does the answer arrive?
- [Downloads](https://docs.wyrd.link/en/cabinet/downloads/index.md): Where do I get the server archive?
