The free limit

Answers the question How many phones work without buying anything?

Without a license the server serves up to two phones. This is not a trial: it has no expiry and requires no account.

Only the device count is limited. Policies, apps, history and remote commands work as they do with a license.

When to buy

When a third phone has to join the fleet. The dashboard reports it. A device beyond the limit does not enrol.

Where the limit is shown

The device counter is shown next to the license name.
