Policies

A policy is a set of work-profile restrictions. The Policies section keeps them separately from devices. One policy is assigned to a group or to a single device.

The Default policy is created by the server on first start and applies to a device as soon as it enrolls, until another one is assigned.

Commands

Commands are sent from the device page, the Commands tab. The same tab assigns a policy and a group, installs an application or a certificate, and the switches at the bottom set restrictions one by one.

On the right is the recent activity: what was sent, when, and whether the device acknowledged it. A command sent to an offline device waits in its queue and goes out on the next connection.
